Crosscut Public
Media http://crosscut.com/
Crosscut.com is a Seattle-based web site, a leader in the
emerging world of not-for-profit daily online civic
journalism. It is a guide to the best news coverage and
commentary in the Northwest, with an active writing staff
and the aggregation of news from local as well as national
sources. Initially a for-profit venture, I worked with
management to transition the company to a non-profit
organization, and continue to act as their financial
planner.

This Los Angeles production company is a
leader in the creation of video for use in the classroom.
Their material demonstrates real-world applications of
science, engineering, and mathematics, engaging students
and prompting their continued interest in these vital
subjects. I am assisting them with financial and strategic
planning.
A Web-based art sale business
This startup, not yet ready to publish its name, will bring
a new dimension and method to the sale of pre-owned fine
art, recognizing the rights of the original artists and
helping to provide support to the arts community. This
company is incorporated and is in the early planning
stages.
An interactive digital education company
This early-stage venture is working on the creation and
delivery of interactive digital curriculum for middle and
upper schools. I am doing the financial planning for the
company, and assisting with its capital structuring and
funding.
